"American Stonehenge"

SoundAndFury — Tue, 04/21/2009 - 13:01

I don't have a specific counterexample in mind, but nonetheless, I can say authoritatively: That is NOT the strangest monument in America. It's just not. Shit, the long row of big cars on poles in Death Valley is far more imposing and creepy.

SoundAndFury — Wed, 04/22/2009 - 15:13

It's just neat, 'cuz it was a weird way to spend a lot of money. Yeah definitely not as impressive. The Stonehenge comparison was just to get the image across I'm guessing, well plus the whole calendar thing.
