A comic to teach young people about the legal justice system has been created and distributed to 50,000 young people, showing the dire consequences of downloading your music without paying for it. Apparently there's a fair amount of disinformation in it. If it's OK to make misleading propaganda about how the government works, I guess I have a few comics of my own to make...

well

There's plenty of nonprofits out there spreading misinformation.

I doubt kids will think this is any more realistic than those Jack Chick tracts that get passed around.

ok, but this hit a nerve

Because, while I don't believe in heaven and hell and everlasting life and all that, I do believe there is music available for download on the internet that does lead to legal proceedings, and I think it's morally wrong to make a "public service" communication that's not accurate.

*If* I believed that listening to KISS would earn me everlasting torment, but that Jesus didn't die for my sins, I'd be very annoyed with Jack Chick, if you see what i mean.
