
While I think most (all?) of Scylla's readers would call this a good thing, the fact that it had to go this fucking far for a definitive ruling (and that this shit happens at all) made me post it here. Also, 6-5? Are you fucking kidding me? Fuck all five of them.
...yesterday’s ruling by a full panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, which ruled 6-5 that students cannot be strip-searched based on the uncorroborated word of another student who is facing disciplinary punishment.
