Hillary Clinton is saying now that she is more electable because white Americans like her more, especially whites who haven't completed college. She's in effect asking you to choose the candidate that uneducated whites support, because that's who can win the general election.

Heh
As I read these comments, the Google Ad banner at the bottom is "John McCain for President".
That *is* something wrong
That *is* something wrong with the world ;)
I sincerely dislike
I sincerely dislike listening to media coverage of this (and most other) elections. Both campaigns have been more than happy to talk about their demographic appeal with different minorities as distinct blocks (which is silly and demeaning to those blocks), but it's practically blasphemy to talk about support from the white majority as a single block.
Why don't we hear about Obama's rabid stance on gun control? Why don't we hear about why Hillary's plan to lower gas prices by dropping the federal tax on the pump and instead tax the gas companies directly (who will just raise the price to include the gas tax) is stupid? What will Obama do about Cuba? Does Hillary have a plan on the impact of global warming and Arctic exploitation (the Russians do!)? Both want to withdraw from Iraq... HOW do the plan to do that without genocide? What will each do about Somalia? What will each do about tort reform? The AMT? Social Security? The devaluation of our currency and the debt that the previous administration will saddle them with?!?
When the FUCK will they report on something that MATTERS?

It kind of drives me fucking
It kind of drives me fucking crazy that going to http://barackobama.com or http://hilaryclinton.com don't immediately take to their platforms. No, instead you must duck and weave through sign up forms and contributions pages (especially if you come in through a search engine). But you can eventually get here:
http://www.hillaryclinton.com/issues
http://www.barackobama.com/issues
It's fucking absurd how identical their websites are (I don't mean on issues, I mean the functionality of the sites).
Whatever, fuck the media, they're useless.
OTOH apparently they're serving up what the people want right? Well the televised media is. The newspapers seem to have a bit more to say, not to mention the blogs. Well some of the blogs. WTH I don't much care anyway. >:)
There's probably some kind
There's probably some kind of WYSIWYG software package for political candidates. Drupalitical. Or something. (Putting the 'pal' back into politics.)
