I hate that there's a day each year that you can't read the freaking news. That aside, I've heard talk of this tunnel in the past.

And hell, yeah, a road trip to Russia would be awesome... but you could even have a road trip from fucking Capetown to motherfucking Buenos Aires. Holy fucking shit.

I imagine that the politics involved in digging a tunnel between Russia and the US are a bit on the complicated side, but I choose to believe, because I'm totally in love with the idea.
