Police Question Girl in Plane-Fetus Case

davei's picture

The headline is disturbing enough; the fact that the content is exactly what the headline makes it sound like is even worse. An underage girl is being questioned about her potential connection (as in, mother of) a fetus found in the trash on a plane. They are waiting to find out whether the fetus was born alive and, if so, where, before they can figure out whether a crime was committed, and whose jurisdiction it belongs in.

It's not like they put the

It's not like they put the international Do Not sticker on it that explicitly says Do Not Put Fetus.

Given how ready women seem to be to flush tampons, pads, paper towels, towels, panty hose, panties, and pretty much anything else that fits through the rim of the toilet, I'm kind of surprised she didn't flush it. And if she passed something out of her body that would not fit in the toilet, SURELY someone noticed SOMETHING going on during this time. Surely.

The only difference between theory and practice is that in theory, there is none.
