Wired calls them 'hackers', but the better word would probably be 'dicks'. Either way, they posted a bunch of animated gifs and javascripts flashing colors to a board for epileptics.

I always worry when someone

I always worry when someone does something that starts with "You know what would be funny...?" and ends with deliberately causing harm to someone.

Unless we're talking about the Jackass guys, because they generally do this to each other, with full consent. Well. Implicit consent.
