If you were on a deserted island, what book would you like to have?

Since I enjoy reading a bunch, I thought I would ask myself this question. What book would I like to have, if given the choice? There are so many that I enjoy, I guess I would bring "Gray's anatomy". Since I will be on the island for awhile, I might as well get to know what I am made of and how everything works. This would give me the opportunity to see my everyday life and current environment in a new light.

Yes, but on page 3 when it says to use your multi tool and string, and you realize you're fucked, you'll be sad that you didn't bring something to bring your mind off it.

Single volume books, or...?

I'd either bring the biggest encyclopedia I could find, or (if we're talking single volume restriction) the Silmarillion.
