I personally enjoyed the books, and I really hope Peter Jackson does make movies from the books. They must be pretty good since he did purchase the movie rights. Since I enjoy reading a bunch, I thought I would ask myself this question. What book would I like to have, if given the choice? There are so many that I enjoy, I guess I would bring "Gray's anatomy". Since I will be on the island for awhile, I might as well get to know what I am made of and how everything works. This would give me the opportunity to see my everyday life and current environment in a new light.

I was thinking, which I try not to do. What is my passion? After visiting the Liberal State of New Mexico, it got me to wondering. If I lived there long enough would I start speaking like "John Redcorn".
