Some of you have wondered where your postings were going, since they weren't going to the front page. Turns out they were going into the greasy arms of the spam-catcher.

I've tried to train it properly, like one would do with any misbehaving pet, but it hasn't gone well. I've been forced to kill the filter for all registered guests here at scylla. At least, until something happens that makes me turn it back on.

Bah.

There's been a couple reports of Scylla weirdness today, which isn't all that much of a surprise. We've been running on just one webserver for a month or so and I finally got around to fixing the second webserver last night. Repaired/upgraded the bdp server while I was at it.

Couple this with restoring some of the old game boards and fixing some DNS issues, there will probably be a bug or two to straighten out. DNS is always a pain because nobody honors the TTL anymore and it takes a while for my changes to propagate.

Fixed a couple config files this morning too, so you might have had some issues then.

So, if anyone runs into further problems, let me know.

Most of you daily users probably won't care too much about this, but I figured I'd put it up on the site so that the next person trying to figure out how to migrate from Slashcode to Drupal has a place they can download the script I used from. I'll put a fake little man page here :)

Note that the code is extremely straightforward and repetitive. I was far more concerned with getting the data moved than making nice code. Perl, GetOpt::Long and DBI::MySQL are required.

Oh, and I was originally just gonna let this go public domain, but I got a request to GPL it, so I've added that to the comments.
